For those interested, RZM.com is having a clearance sale on the above till midnight 8 Sep. I've ordered a couple of Flak 38s at 50%. No relation to the seller, just wanted to share.

You sure the kits are on sale?If that is %50 off, something isn't right?I'd email them and see if they have them in stock....I've ordered a few times and they didn't have a lot of the modelkasten stuff in stock.

Could not find it on RZM site? All Tristar kits are still selling at normal price there. May be is finished already.

They're primarily a book shop, not your traditional hobby store so I would not expect them carrying so much stock moreso brands. Why they sell Tristar and ModelKasten items has been a mystery to me in all these years that I have dealt with them. Nevertheless if there's something that interests me then I place orders -- never had issues.
Re Tristar sale, see here on what's currently left: http://www.rzm.com/main/tspage.cfm.
It also explains how they apply special discounts.

I've just had a look and even at 50% off they're about a normal price. I really like Tristar stuff as the detail is nice and sharp. Their figures are probably the best on the market in terms of moulding and can never work out why they never made it big. The German officers sitting down with a map goes for silly money on ebay now as I saw it go for £30 a couple of weeks ago. I've got to say I wouldn't be keen on placing an order where the discount doesn't show up before I pay.

Those prices certainly are not sale prices! Matter of fact, my LHS has better prices.

Thanks for the update, Tat, don't let the carping discourage you, LOL.
Tristar figures didn't catch on IMO because they are under-scale (smaller than) in comparison to other makers. Tank are over-sized.

No worries Bill, thanks! Been looking for that specific kit, and getting two for the price of one was a good deal for me. Cheers, Tat
