Jim, do you think it is possible to show how many pages a topic has on the Latest Posts page? That way if you been following a long topic like a group build that is several pages in length, you could click on the 2 3 4 5 etc. page number and it would jump straight to that page.

I don't know if that's a problem due to the option that the individual user has to set the number of posts per page. I tend to set my default to 30 posts per page and abandon topics that start running into a second page.

I will look at incorporating the pagination code that the main forum pages use on the latest posts page. That page is a bit unstable though because of all the customizing on it to date.

It may be beyond my humble skills.
