AK Interactive Dust Wash is what I have used.

I applied it over an acrylic basecoat, and used a thinner dampened brush to remove as much as I desired.I suppose one could use a similar product or mix their own wash.

I'll second that. I was really impressed with how well it works.

I will say, don't get freaked out when it dries and it looks glossy. Just dull coat afterwards.

Hi Ángel,
I found this tutorial a while ago, might be of some help.
It's best to do multiple passes untill you get the right amount of dust as in your picture.

Thanks Anthony, Mike and Steve.

Steve, I will take a look to the youtube video.

Anthony, I suppose you meant AK dust effects. How did you apply it? Airbrush or by brush? How long did you wait before removing it? The basecoat was flat or glossy?

I was thinking of giving very light overcoats with Tamiya's buff highly diluted or using Humbrol's equivalent.

Thanks in advance for your help,
Angel

I applied the AK with a brush,I didn't let it dry,I just continued to work with it until n I w a small satisfied, even if it dries,it still could be adjusted with their thinner.

I just used Vallejo Desert Dust pigment, showered it on and then used a soft brush to move it around and get some buildup in crevices etc.

You can also make a dust wash. Here are some ideas: http://armorama.kitmaker.net/features/782&page=3
