hi i am currently building the tamiya pak 40 anti tank gun what colour do you paint the shells as tamiya don't do a brass colour in there paint range

I think the colour Gold, from Tamiya's range is used in lieu. Not sure what people do to shade though.

You can also use some steel colour. The longer the war lasted, the less brass was available for shells, so they resorted to steel casings...

i like Agama Metallic Paste, the finish is perfect,you use a really small ammount and when dry you can polihs,many colors and perfect metal finish
