Hi Everyone,
I'm finishing up creating some pieces that I've been meaning to get around to making for ages. You guessed it, one of those pieces happens to be a WWII US fuel transfer pump. The type I am talking about are the ones used to pull fuel from a 55 gallon drum and pump it into something else.
I can find lots of reference material and photos of the ones employed by the Germans during the war, but not so much for the US Army. In fact, so far my searches have turned up nothing! The German ones seem to have photos everywhere and I even came across a really great Russian Army version, but nothing yet for the US.
Would anyone happen to have any decent photos of one of these elusive creatures? Dimension would be fantastic but not necessary. Some fairly clear photos would be a huge help. Any help in this would be very, very appreciated!
thanks,
Jim

This one is a Korean War picture, but I guess we can reasonably presume that the pictured pump could be a WW2 one

AH Frenchy! You truly are a magnificent gentleman! If anyone can dig up an incredibly difficult to find reference it is you my friend. Thank You Very Much! Now I at least have something to go on. Hopefully I can track down another photo now that I know more of what I am looking for.
Thanks again Frenchy!

You're welcome James. The pictured pump resembles the postwar 12-gallon-per-minute dispensing pump :
