It was certainly news to me as well but Scalemates seem to have been informed:
https://www.scalemates.com/kits/1011242-takom-2056-t-55a

https://www.scalemates.com/kits/1011243-takom-2057-t-55-am2b

(both listed as 'Future')

Guys, this announcement was published yesterday on Armorama news section:

http://armorama.com/news/23213

Just FYI, Armorama homepage lists number of latest news reports which can be easily accessed under a "/news" tab.

Hi Mario,
I know that there is a special page/tab with all the news but I have gotten used to seeing them tagged as 'News' in the other forums. For some reason or other this news item didn't show up in this forum or in the more general 'Armor/AFV'-forum

Indeed.
I, for one, never visit the "News" tag, since most of the news appear sooner or later in the AFV Forum, as "News".
Sometimes, they appear after some forum member publishes a topic about a new announcement, but they are still published there.
But, as Robin said, I never saw them published the same way in this forum, either.
So I'm not upset if a given "News" is published more than once. This means more chances for everyone to be advised about it.

Robin, you are correct, it appeared in "Modeling in General"... not sure why is that, Carlos was probably in a hurry to publish the news and forgot to click on the appropriate forum group.

No problems. I think it is better to duplicate the news than completely miss it.

Yep... 00:45 in the morning is not my best hour... Sorry Robin, I should have checked it but I was too sleepy!

No problems :-) no harm done.
That time of the night is not my best either ..

Whenever there is manual interaction in a process there will be a risk of failure. I get the impression that the "system" works well enough and mistakes/omissions get caught fairly quickly
