Which OD do you guys prefer for the basecoat on a British Firefly.I prefer acrylics.

The color you are trying to replicate is British SCC 15 Olive Drab, in case you wanted to research that and try to match the color.
Mike Starmer recommends, and I quote;
"for Vallejo 892 yellow-olive is about the closest out of the bottle"
"for Tamiya 5pts XF61 + 2pts XF62 + 2pts XF3. This is fraction darker than the standard so a wee touch more XF3 won't hurt."
I've also seen others mention a Tamiya mix of 4pts XF58 + 3pts XF62 but I'm not sure of it's accuracy compared to Mikes research.
