AFAIK, in the 1973 war only Egypt, Syria, Iraq and Jordan took part on the Araba coalition.

Agree with the above. There is no mention of any Saudi involvement in the Yom Kippur War in the outstanding book "Arabs at War".

According to some sources, Saudi Arabia sent a unit supported by Panhard AML-90 armored cars to Syria, but the operation they were supposed to participate was called off (plus they definitely provided financial aid...). Apparently one of those Panhards was captured by the IDF :

Even though Jordan's participation was an odd one... http://www.haaretz.com/news/diplomacy-defense/.premium-1.546843?v=92E14C2CEA296DE01DE78C7F4FC81259
Algeria, Tunisia, Lybia, Morocco, Cuba, North Korea, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Lebanon, The Soviet Union, (Pakistan?) all sent troops and/or pilots and their equipment to Syria and Egypt and provided aid of some sort, even though most of them were not engaged directly in the fightings.

Your source? I find that rather hard to believe as they were never engaged in direct fighting with the IDF...
