i have trawled the net in search of pictures of the T-34 / 76 'Formochka' tank no.248 as presented in Dragon's kit #6487

but with no joy...

did Dragon just make this scheme up?

are there any pictures of this tank or indeed those like it / similar numbers, same turret and camo?

any help much appreciated

Not sure if it is the right one or even the correct tank. It is 1:00 in the morning and I am going to bed.

Here is a site in Russian with a photo of a one of those tanks at the very bottom. Camo, turret and the first digit of the number are the same, maybe it's the same tank.

it is interesting that the pic that Wojciech mentions does look as though it is the inspiration for Dragon's kit but it clearly has stamped wheels on at least 3 of the 5 visible on the right side, whereas Dragon went for a mix of cast and 'spider' type wheels

since i do not model anything that i do not have a relatively clear photo of, i will keep looking

shame, as i really like the funny mushroom shape of the formochka turrets
