Hello Henri,

Yes it does look a bit R/C'ish, would make for any interesting build subject.
From what I've read on it the middle tire are just on bearings bolted to the side and can roll when going over a high dirt banks or a fallen tree.
An interesting piece to say the least.

yeah,i seen the video on youtube not long ago.that hook in the front is for pulling it self up steep hills if i remember correctly.

"Action Vehicle Engineering put a lot of work into tweaking the British Ferret 4X4, which is fitted with six custom wheels fitted with Toyo Tires Open Country M/Ts, all of which are powered by hydraulic motors operated from inside the vehicle. The modified suspension features King shocks to allow ‘The Ferret’ to travel rough terrain and conquer obstacles with ease. For some additional performance in the off-road world, a Chevrolet LS engine was installed in the rear of the rig."
