Dunno if it's been mentioned, but the "Coming Soon" section on Voyager's website shows a heap of sets of forthcoming plastic individual link tracks - four types of Tiger I track, and twelve sets of Panzer III/IV track, including Ostketten and three types of Winterketten. The Tiger ones look fairly involved - no less than seven sprue attachment points per link plus separate horns, while the Panzer III/IV ones seem to have just three sprue attachment points a link, and integral horns.

Not clear at the moment if they're workable or not. If they are, and the price is reasonable, these'd be a welcome release.

I saw these tracks and my bug bear is that if they're the same price as spade ace or Fruils then what's the point.

30-40 bucks for a plastic set of tracks makes no sense to me personally.

Cheers Ben

No, these are cheap. Just ordered 2 sets of ostketten for pziii/iv and with p&p, cost was 22 quid.

After my initial price judgement and seeing the price on Hobbyeasy I picked up a set of panzer IV winterketten I'm looking forward to seeing how they go.

Cheers Ben.

I got 2 sets of ostketten delivered today. They fit together beautifully. They are a tighter fit than magic tracks and they fit around a dragon pziii sprocket perfectly. They have 12 sets in total for pziii/ivs/StuGs etc and I will be buying a lot more for sure.

Really happy to see some folks have tried these.

Anyone know of a review or tutorial on the tracks would be great.

So this is actually this persons opinion of the tracks and a pseudo review, with pictures. Not sure how accurate Google translation is.

He was disappointed they were not magic track style, but says they fit his Tiger well, and so the pictures would confirm.

An issue he is concerned about is the time for the glue to set, apparently it takes a little longer than normal with these for the glue he uses.

He has some gripes but they actually look good.

The worst part looks to be having to glue all those track guides on!!!
