Your M113A1 looks quite nice. The paint job looks nice and the stowage makes sense (I hate seeing models with stowage strewn about that might cause weapons systems to not be effectively placed into service or equipment that is not correct) and that is refreshing to see. I like the empty shell casings and links being present, too. It is nice to see the pioneer tools stowed through the tail light guards as this was a practice utilized by several units. I just completed a gas powered M113 of C Co, 2d BN, 47th Inf (Mech), 9th Inf Div. and had done the same thing with the pioneer tools. Once I get some good pictures of it I will be posting it in the diorama section.
Again, Very nice work. I looks forward to seeing more in the future.

Thanks I did ,a gold medal.It was my first event that I went to and had a blast.Took my 2 boys with me.I only wish I was able to pick out who was who and intrduce myself.Next time

Thanks,i used a black primer then used Model colors #941 burnt umber with just a touch of Model Color German cam.Black brown #70822 from the panzer series.High lights have a small amount of Model Color sunny skin tone mixed in with #941.Hope that helps

With the exception of the red-painted lifting eyes (any references of this in the US army?), I really like this. Great finish, and love the figures.

And the antennas appear too tall. If you tie down the rear one forward it should barely extend over the front.
And something that is EXTREMELY easy to miss as it doesn't show on photos but most US vehicles have cord with tie down clips tied on the top of the vehicles to hold down antennas.

Overall a great looking model. The finish and weathering are really nice. In addition to the red lift rings and too long antennas (they should be 2 3/4" in 1/35 as they are 8' in 1/1) there is also an issue with the .50 cal ammo. Why are the rounds yellow? .50 cal rounds are fully metal jacketed in copper, which is a brown/orange color. additionally, they are most commonly 4 in one tracer rounds. This means for every 4 standard rounds, there is one tracer round which has a red tip.
You can see the tracers below, along with API rounds (steel tipped incendiary rounds).

Thanks for the feed back,they do seem to be yellow in the picture not sure why,ill have to tone them down a little more.And I completely missed the tracers!I 've already fixed the to long antennas.Love all the help

I noticed in a book I have I think squadron signals 113 in action.Some had red and others white.Not sure on the meaning of it but I thought it looked interesting.

I used the Tamiya scab kit,fruil tracks,Edurd pe.live resin 50cal.But I used Rb models 50cal detail set and barrel for it because the live resin barrel just wouldn't stay straight.And the front floatation device was from another kit.
