From what I've heard, the 155mm gun and necessary changes to the mantlet are the only changes. To my eye, the 155mm gun looks short but I don't know.

Compared to what? It's utter fantasy. It does not have a counterpart in the rational universe.

Looks like dragon has a new T95 with a 155mm gun coming out. Wonder if they corrected any of its isues???
I think that's the second time that precise question has been asked in this thread. Of course they didn't, it's an utter fantasy as previously said. It's in MERDC camouflage on the box top for heaven sakes!

WHY on earth would they want to?
Are you looking for DRAGON to set a precedent for themselves..?

While the T28/95 never mounted a 155mm gun, the T30 did. It's reasonable to assume that if (and considering this is a fantasy version) the T28/95 mounted a 155mm gun, however false and unlikely, it would be the same T7/T7E1 that the T30 mounted. Hence, you could compare the size of the kit gun to the size of the actual gun on the T30 and, to my eye, the 155mm gun in this kit looks short and the blast deflector incorrect compared to the T7/T7E1.

Of course it did. Together with the 1/16 AT-AT and a 1/35 rear echelon Death Star.
THAT'S TRUE!!! It was during the famous "Charge of the Light Brigade"!!! THOSE were "the Good Old Days!"
I have yet to summon the courage to ask the rangers at Civil War sites: "Where were the Confederate Tiger tanks?"
KL
Davey Crockett and Jim Bowie were there alongside the KT, backs against the bar counter, making a heroic next-to-last stand fighting off Santa Anna's dwarf clown infantry as they wuz pourin' onto the beach off them Mexican Air Force triremes. Jim felt bad because he had to shoot the KT. It broke a track.
The Confederate Tigers were occupied at the time in putting down the "Boxer Rebellion", when along came Captain Horatio Hornblower, who gave them all "A Sniff of Powder"... (and, NO, I don't mean "Coke", either)

Actually I've just got hold of the box-art for Dragon's Confederate Tigers, but I'm not sure if it'll cause a storm across the US of A because it shows the R*b*l Fl*g, so I'm withholding it pending legal advice. Is that totally illegal yet? Maybe there are exemptions for historically accurate depictions, the box-art seems to be representing Pickett's Charge which as we know failed because the Rebs ran out of coal.

The Charge wasn't approved by Diner's Club, thus dooming the entire operation from the outset. The lack of coal was due to the fact that his men were non-Union workers and the stevedores, who were teamsters, refused to cross the Pickett Line.

Dragon's Secret item: a kit that actually builds without issue.
Well, then it wouldn't be announced on 1st October, but on 1st April, because such a kit will NEVER hit the shelves...

Good Lord, the OP said it would be on sale this October. There are still 30 days left in the month.
You realize that this sort of manufactured anticipation is exactly what DML was hoping for when they mentioned a "secret release"? You bought it hook, line, and sinker.

I'm sorry Kurt, I was going by this:
"Nope, neither of those (I hope). They say it is an all-new something in 1/35th scale. Sales start on October 1-st, the National day of PRC."
and nobody has bought anything yet, we don't even know what it is yet, LOL.
In all seriousness, I AM excited to see a new release, it might not be something I am interested in, but then again maybe it might be one of my "Holy Grail" items, who knows, but I prefer to see the FUN in it. My sincere apologies if I'm wrong but, you seem to treat it as some kind of scam "You bought it hook, line, and sinker" and I respect that, if I was standing in line for hours/days, or had prepaid for the item unseen, I would agree with you completely, but since I did not, I'm just enjoying the fun of anticipation.

So here it is at last, and as Kurt L. suspected – possible Dragon glitches already though, there’s no evidence the Texas Brigade joined Pickett’s charge after the action at Devil’s Den the day before, and was Pickett’s tank really 311, or was it 007 commandeered from Pettigrew’s 26th North Carolina regiment?
How different history might have been if he’d carried Amex instead of DC. But enough of all this speculation, where’s nurse?

Pacman never took part in the battle. He was suspended for the entire 1863 season as of a result of an incident at a Vegas strip club.

AHHH! A steam-powered "Late-Production" Tiger I, erroneously labelled as "Early-Production" on the box cover! Gotta hand it to those boys at DRAGON- Their brand of "attention to detail" has NO peers...
I wonder if DRAGON included the proper "black-powder" muzzle-loading MG-34s aboard this Tiger..?

The "scam" is that DML did nothing but they got all kinds of people talking about it. Free advertising and manufactured anticipation about . . . Well, nothing really. All we know is the scale, but everyone is projecting their individual hopes and dreams upon it. What's even more bizarre is that DML's recent releases have been nearly uniformly panned. If I learned that my "holy grail" was coming from DML, I can't say that I would view that as a certain good thing . . .

Blah blah blah, you're all sooo wrong.
I know what it is and it's not a vehicle at all. Dragon is pulling your legs with all these phony shots of this and that.
The real release is going to be, drum whirl please......
A complete collection of ALL the pointing fingers Dragons ever made. It's going to be HUGE.
Dragon Model has gambled all their money on this one production, and this will end all other model manufacturers for good.
