Except the Tamiya kit is also missing a number of details in the fighting compartment.

I can see, in the centre of the third photo up, one of the trolls that is provided to crew this Wespe... I very fondly recall building this kit in about 1978, having been given it without instructions or tracks, but I loved it. While the detail is simplified, compared to the Airfix kits I was used to, I remember it fitting together very well and having sharply defined moulding, as well as quite good decals. The troglodyte crew and the jerrycans however are beyond the pale. Managing Editor
