I am starting to build a Dragon "Baghdad" Abrams. I noticed that every track has those ejection pin marks. How do you guys get rid of them, or do you just leave them there.
Thanks

Hi. I think a lot of it depends how much of a perfectionist you want to be on the matter. On the Dragon model I have the marks aren't all that noticeable, to me. There are some areas that needs a little flash removal and that's about it. Personally speaking, once they are painted and mounted and weathered, I won't notice them, so it's doesn't matter to me. But if you think they are a problem you can always use some plastic filler or CA and sand them down a tad. It's a personal choice here.

Good luck and take care, Sgirty

My new Bahgdad abrams had a useless set of tracks as well. There was too much flash, sink holes, pin marks ect. If I was you, spend the extra money, maybe $10 and get the AFV club M1A1 abrams track set. They are awesome.

The AFV tracks still have ejector pin marks on the inner surface of the track pad, which is even more noticeable than the Dragon tracks, but they are much easier to remove since you can get better access to the marks.

I spend the time to sand or fill the marks mostly because I try to use the kit tracks unless I must use AM tracks. I am not really cheap, but I hate to spend money needlessly if I can make the kit tracks work.

Hello All,
You will find that every set of track has its own little deformity. I prefer the AFV or TK set of tracks since they are essentially the same. I've generally found the injector pin marks on the top and once I put a section of track together I run a sanding stick down the length. It cleans up very nice.
