Armorama run a story on these 1/35 scale figures while they were still in works. Now the sets are available and should prove a great addition to all Cold War and modern Russian vehicles.

So for the non initiated, the Ratnik uniformn is the "modern" one I assume?
Is it Russian only or is it seen on other nations?

Ratnik is the most modern yes, and partly still experimental. (Just look at how much the new AK, which is part of the Ratnik programe, has changed from 2012 to now). Currently not being exported, as far as I know.
