Just see these on FB and thought I'd share. Amazing work from Weta.

I think they just took giants and period dressed them! Is this the same Weta from New Zealand - one of Peter Jackson's productions?

They are independent but partner with Peter Jackson, and specialize in movie props and make up for many movie companies. They are now the official distributors for Wing Nut Wings too. This display is called "The Scale of Our War" and is based on actual events and correspondence from the Gallipoli campaign. I believe it's located in an exhibit in Wellington. For more informand great photos go to the Weta Workshop.com website. This is truly one of the most incredible museum displays ever done.

Does anyone know how to put some of the photos up here? Im gutted that these are on the other side of the world. Hopefully they will someday go on tour. They look amazing and it's such a fresh concept.

What scale are these figures? They look to be at least 4x life size. Wonder how big a Tiger tank would be?

I love it, but it makes the hobby so damn expensive. Think of the truck-sized PE-frets you'll need... Then again, PE wouldn't have scale thickness
