Hello,
I'd like to know if someone has compared Tamiya 1:48 KV-2 model with Hobby Boss 1:48 one...
The reason I ask is that I've bought a Hobby Boss one. Detail is great (comparable to Trumpeter 1:35), but lower hull holes on the right side were made in the wrong positions (about five mm away from correct position), causing drive sprocket and last road wheel on the back to be too close, touching each other
That kit also had missing parts, so I ordered a new one from a different store, this time it had all parts included but had same problem on lower hull holes, so maybe it's a factory desing problem
Because of that, I'm thinking about buying Tamiya kit and using the metal lower hull it includes, to build the Hobby Boss kit... But I don't know if there is difference in size, and there are no modeling stores here to go and check, I'd need to order the kits online
So, does anyone know if there is much size difference between the Hobby Boss and Tamiya kits?
Sorry for my bad english
Greetings

Hi,
I'm not aware of this problem and have not come across it in any reviews? The last rear wheel on right hand side should be close to sprocket but wheel should sit almost just inside the sprocket teeth:

Well, I thought both sides should have the same distance between last road wheel and sprocket wheel... By looking at the pics, I guess I was wrong and there is nothing wrong with hobby boss lower hull
Thank you very much for your help
