I'm planning to scratch buil a ruined european brick house circa Late 19th century to 1945. What I particularly want to know is are they built with some kind of supports inside or are they just brick over brick.
I may be using wood or plaster as material for the project.

Yari,
The house that I lived in when I was in Germany was dated before the war and they had a cinder block type of inner wall and then brick over brick on the outer layer. Hope this helps, but have you tried a search on Google?

Thanx for the reply. Actually I did search about it in the web, but couldn't find that specific detail. Your response confirmed my doubts.
