I'm about to start working on the G6 Rhino and was checking out the instructions.. and for the interior of the driver's compartment they call out for the color Ammo MIG 017 Cremeweiss. Now, I use almost exclusively Tamiya paints, so, anyone know what this Cremeweiss could be in Tamiya terms?
Thanks in advance

It looks like a mix of J.A grey and white would be ideal, looking at their catalogue.

same colour as cream.
Almost white but not quite, a slight yellow tint to it.
Humbrol 34 if you can compare with a Humbrol colour chart.
Mixing a little XF-14 (J. A. Grey) into white (XF-2) should work, otherwise you could try mixing very little yellow (XF-3) into the white.

Whatever Mike is thinking about I am fairly certain that he isn't thinking about the swedish 'lapskojs',
it's a mix of small bits of boiled pork (boiled until it starts falling apart), mashed potatoes and boiled carrots (small pieces). When served it looks as if someone had already eaten meat, potatoes and carrots and then "returned" it ....
Doesn't taste much but it needs to be served and eaten in complete darkness .... brrrr

My bad, I got that number from an old web-page and didn't check it. Sorry ....
I also think that Hu 103 is definitely far too yellow, Hu 41 Ivory is a bit closer but still too yellow so Hu 34 is probably the nearest match from Humbrol. Adding a drop or two of yellow would probably fix it, or a wash of yellow & dirt afterwards

I ate it once, in school, more than 40 years ago, and the image is still with me
Good luck with cream white

Yes, it's a very nicely done kit.. detail is very crisp with very clean moulding
If you use Facebook, you can see a build log by Azrael Raven HERE

While I was serving in Tchad in EUFOR and UN peacekeeping operations we had norwegian combat rations. Lapskaus as it was written in those combo bags was my favourite.

I just asked Azrael, who, by the way, did the research that Takom used for this kit.. and he has some nice detail pics (I'm trying to convince him to submit them as a feature here, or send them to Prime Portal - they're too good not to share).. anyway, he said that the original interior color is straight white, but the South African climate and red dirt end up giving it an off white color.. so, just a tad of buff in the white should do it.
Thank you all for the tips... not for the bad images

Hi Hisham,
Went through my data base and came up with several options but to me they don’t really match (off whites and greys). Humbrol 103 would be the closest but would still need some white. I also remember that you are limited to Tamiya paints so I would try as previously suggested XF 57 Buff with XF 2 White and add a small amount of XF 49 Khaki just to tone down the starkness of the colour.
Hope this helps
David

Thank you, Rob and David.. but like David said, I'm limited to Tamiya right now, especially since if I need to order some new paints, I'll have to wait at least a month before I get it.. so, that's why I always try to find an equivalent with I got on hand. I already have Tamiya white and buff, so I guess I'll go with those
