Hi
I try to finish a Kubelwagen, but I don't know the correct color for the windshield side turn signals. The type of "hand" ones.

In this pic appears some orange but the signal its close
Any clue?
TIA

Hi!
Those German WWII turn signals were a mechanical "wand" which flipped out by cable-control. Best I know from much prior discussion this topic on other sites and in other related threads for years; The consensus is that the "plastic" - actually a sort of celluloid - tube was an amber-yellow color. Generally, it had a small light bulb at its base to light it up at night. The plastic wand had a metal outer case or cover - so when it was closed, the yellow / amber plastic was not visible.
When I do these on vehicles, I sometimes make them partially opened so that I can show a little orangy-yellow of the hidden (when closed up) plastic tube. Probably, in real life, they were seldom "partially open"! But, hey! It's a model and looks a bit more interesting when part-open. You can, of course, also make the open so that the wand sticks out horizontal and the amber-yellow tube is on the bottom side under that metal outer cover. Hopefully only one will be up at a time!
