Ooooweee Musky! (wasn’t that Dep’ty Dawg? I think I’m regressing to my temporary Massachusetts childhood) Badass mud effects & corpses Conor, you’ve got one of the sharpest eyes for detail, great work.
Cheers, Tim

Mud,blood and gore. Really brings home the impression of modern war.
Great job so far.

Thank you fellas!
We are within a few days of closing this one up. Right now I've got everything placed, and just have to finalize my groundwork over the next few days.
For now, just some more figure shots I got when finishing the initial work on the half track crew.

The last figure I'm not very happy with my paint job, but in terms of his pose, he fits brilliantly into the mix. He's been altered here and there since the pictures were taken too.
That's it for now! Hopefully the next post will be the whole thing finished up.
Thanks for looking!

Well, I think I can call this one done.
This will be the first of two posts, as my camera battery s**t the proverbial bed. Simple staging using construction paper and lighting.
Enjoy!

The 11.SS Panzergrenadier Divison launched Operation "Solstice" to smash through the Russian frontline in Pomerania, aimed at relieving the seige of Kustrin. After initial success, the attack failed. Recaptured villages were abandoned and more refugees joined the trek to the west. Another painful retreat and bitter rear guard action ensued...

Anybody going to AMPS in Danbury in a couple weeks? I'll be there. This dio will be there.
Thanks for looking and stay tuned!

Really nice job.
Nice layout w/ all the different elements and differnt actions playing out.
Wish I could see it at the show but I fled New England years ago for warmer parts.

Love the groundwork and how you've got the figures and vehicles to sit in the environment. You can feel the cold and wet seeping in.
