Here is my last kit. A traditional VAB heller kit + upgraded armor I will build with plastic card + some resin parts (wheels and stowage from Blast Models.
First pics are the Heller kit quickly assembled as usual

on this kit, I will put a turret called "CB 52" which is present on most of the french VAB you can see in operations.
this turret exists in resin and sold by Azimut but is very expensive that's why I'm doing it in plastic card.
some pics of my turret:

Good start! I build the Heller VAB myself and I still have nightmares about it!
But now that we have an update started, how long it will take `til we see an announcement of a new kit from Tiger Model!
CAD Images mean nothing.

Phantastic scratchwork .. the level of detail you add to this old heller kit is just stunning. Keep up the good work!

Very nice work. With a nice scratchbuilt of this particular armor, not easy at all.
I like your update on the front wheels fixations.
Wheels are from Djiti Productions ?

The armour upgrade looks cool. May I ask where you got the template for them?

If I remember well wheels are from Blast but not so sure as I have plenty of different wheels for VAB ;-)

Good work on the add-on armor plates! We really miss an up-to-date model of the VAB.
Before painting your model don't forget to add the second handle on the driver hatch.

Yes, this is the only hatch to have two handles. When it is closed the handles are oriented to the rear.
