Anyone know of a good bulk downloader (preferably free) for downloading the excellent Soviet and Russian vehicle walkarounds on the DishModels site rather than having to laboriously click and save each individual image?

You should look at 'site grabbers'; there are a number of them to pick from. Most will let you specify a base URL, how far down to follow links, and what external links to follow (i.e., if a page points to images on another server). I've used HTTrack in the past, but that was some years ago, and I'm sure there are others just as good.

Perhaps HTTrack will be useful:

Note that if the volume is too large, you should space the sessions to avoid affecting the site performance serving other users, or just being blocked.
