Hello all!

First post but by god a long time lurker.

I've finally pulled my finger out and started work on a Trumpeter 1/16 Tiger II.

I've got a whole host of books on the Tiger I/IIs (That giant one by the Polish bloke, Parker's 1/16th Build, The Jentz and Doyle book, so a few options to bounce off) and honestly the choice is a bit bewildering.

Mainly I was just wondering if there are many, best way to put it, 'subject' king tigers to build off of, like possibly ones with a lot of pictures available or the history is known of them etc, if any of that makes sense.

Thank you heaps in advance,
Nick

Nick the Super King: Building Trumpeter's 1:16th Scale King Tiger by David Parker is a great one to use for the build.
But you want info on a specific tank? Have you got one in mind or a image. Maybe pic one and build out from there.

Hey mate, thanks for the reply. I do have the Super King book and by god it is a little bit soul crushing haha.

Well I sat down last night and start collating the differences between Early and Late KT (if a year can have can have E/L haha) and seeing which features are doable with the kit, and what could be fun to work on.

But also at the same time, if there is any KT's with a large amount of pics available, that would certainly sway me.

Cheers,
Nick

Just make sure you have fun mate masters like David are something we all want to aim for... but the main thing is to build as you like and have fun mate!

Walk arounds there are a few. But they are now and things might have been added or removed vs period WWII images.

Mate have a look at Waldamar Trojca Koenigstiger in colour there is some really good colour plates with some 5 sided views to aide the paint schemes you might be chasing.

The book goes for around 30-40 bucks if you look around.

Cheers Ben.
