broke down and purchased the corazzati ariete MBT as I cant read italian was wondering what color paint the modern italian army uses?also what would be a close match in the tamiya paint range????any help would be appreciated ..p.s.. I know trumpeter is doing one in plastic cant wait....larry

The perfect match in my view for the Ariete, that's different in colour fron all of the other AFVs we've got down here is to paint it in Tamiya XF67 Nato Green. When throughly dry spray with your airbrush a coat of denaturated achool (the pink one you find at supermarkets) and the XF67 will turn to the exact gray/green of the Ariete.
Tomorrow I'll post some pics of the Ariete for you so before painting it you can do your tests and compare the pics with your "sampler".

Oooops! I forgot that all of them are going to be repainted in the standard three colour nato scheme...
