Hi, I just bought an R/C M1A1 from my local store. It's 1/16th and great!! The turret rotates, the machine gun fires, the gun fires and recoils, the lights work and there engine noises too. What I am after is advice on what to do with it. I intend respraying it and weathering it as a scale model. I am also considering putting in speed controlers for proportional speed control, making the headlights stay on and possibly replacing the skirts and fenders with metal ones. Any more ideas? This is a great way to have a 1/16th model for peanuts prices (£45). Now I need some good pictures of war weary tanks with all the trash associated with combat operations festooned all over. Oh and adding CIP panels.

Verlinden makes a OOP set of 1/16th US equipment that you might be able to use. It'll probably take more than one set, but they're about the only game in town. The packs are the older ALICE style but will help fill up the bustle rack on your tank. They also make a Tank Commander and I believe card stock MRE boxes in 1/16th.
Good luck
