I recently completed assembly of this kit and I drilled out the ammo tubes so that I can add some aftermarket brass shells. However I am not having any luck locating the shells that I would use. Would anyone know what shells I should purchase that would fit? Any help would be appreciated.

Here is the kit: https://www.scalemates.com/kits/984941-scale-model-accessories-ltd-smav-114-german-20-30-mm-ammo-trailer-sd-ah-33

According to the info here :

http://www.lonesentry.com/ordnance/tag/sd-ah-33

it was used to carry Nebelwerfer ammunition. Verlinden and Dnepromodel have released sets of 150mm rockets :

but others may have as well...

I've just read that this trailer was originally used to carry 10cm Nebelwerfer 35 and 40 10cm rockets. As these weapons were phased out in 1941, it was later used to carry ammunition for Marder 1's tank destroyers (Pak 40 75mm ammunitions).

he needs 20/30mm ammo
This is carrying 20mm...so I'm guessing ordering some German Brass 30mm ammo

RB Models makes brass 20 mm shells plus 37 mm maybe 30mm

But the "holes" in the trailer rear panel look much bigger than 20 or 30mm

Maybe the SMA kit designation is just wrong...

Here's the web page I was referring to :

these trailers came in different configurations...carrying smaller caliber ammo.
But I believe there is a bigger trailer that carries the bigger ammo. SD.AH51
You could try making your own ammo out of clay or check your other kits/stash for extra ammo
But the other posters are correct about it carrying 10.5cm ammunition of the 10cm Nebelwerfer 35 and 40
Heres the trailer behind a PZ1

I read this had another version AH32 that carried 75mm L24 ammo..that had the ammo facing upwards.

Most of the quad 20mm halftracks pulled the AH51 trailer.

There is a early Anti Tank gun of 28mm..maybe this is the trailer it used?
2.8 cm sPzB 41

German 30 mm ammo was for MK 108 auto canons in the ME262, ME 109 etc...so your little model confuses me lol.
If the holes are bigger maybe its 105mm artillery?

Thanks for all your help I used a 2.3mm drill bit to deepen the hole. The holes were already there just very shallow. It would have looked bad had I not added some depth. So now I want to fill it up with some brass. At this point anyone know of some brass shells that are 2.3mm in diameter that would look good?

I am trying to upload a photo but I cannot get it to work.

Also the initial link I first linked to was the wrong item, the photo was wrong on Scalemates (it has now been corrected).

The original box from Scale Model Accessories LTd. Said SMAV116 German Munition Trailer SdAH33.

Here is the correct link. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/257616-scale-model-accessories-ltd-smav-116-sonder-anhaenger
