Hi, All!

HOLY CATS!!! WHATTA LINE-UP!!!
Some personal preferences:
Not interested in the 6895 T95 kit AT ALL,
LOVE the 6868 Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.B (7.5cm),
Ditto, the 6815 Vollkettenaufklaerer 38 7.5cm L24, (would be nice to see early, mid and late Hetzers and a Bergepanzer Hetzer),
and FINALLY, we're getting the Sd.Kfz.252 Munitions w/Trailer
I could mention a few more kits, namely in the US/Allied WWII variety that I'd like to see, but mentioning them would be fruitless, as WE WILL NEVER SEE THEM, anyway...

Thanks David for the heads up ! While not a 1/72nd fan the Panther looks nice for the Brail Scale folks. Also not a fan of the T95 either. Everything else I like, a lot. I wish that Dragon would release an IDF M3 crew like the artwork shows but that's nice that they included all the DS gear. Now, if I don't have to sell blood to buy some of these new releases....

I may get the T95...if only to kit-bash it.
I really want the Tiger prototype and ESPECIALLY the 252 halftrack. Dragon half-tracks are still some of the best out there.

Correction- "Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.B" should read, "Pz.Kpfw.VI Ausf.B"... Ooops!

The SU 76i looks quite tempting. I've been meaning to pick one up for ages so this can go on my list as well. I like the irony of this one. German vehicle captured and modified by the Sovs then recpatured by the Germans and modified again LOL. The Sdkfz 252 is quite tempting as well as I have a real soft spot for German half tracks. Nice to see that they're releasing something different and that's of some use.

According to Dragon's product description of the 1/72 late Panther A, "All the appropriate characteristics of this Ausf. A Late Production are present..." Funny, Zimmerit should be a definite characteristic of any late Panther A, yet their CAD's don't show any; neither is it mentioned. Dragon snoozing and dropping the ball - again?

Anyone know what happened to the T54E1? Went on pre-order last December and they showed off the built up model at a Japanese show in September and they say a November release on the Dragon USA website, but I haven't seen anything.

Just ordered the Japanese Ke-Nu from HLJ. I am definitely going to get the Vollkettenaufklaerer 38 and the Sd.Kfz.252 when they are available. Kudos to Dragon for thinking outside the box.

I'm sure Dragon has offended somebody by not releasing this vehicle or that...but I'm happy to see them release new and interesting subject matter. I've always liked Dragon kits. The molding is usually top notch and the kits are easy to assemble. I've heard some horror stories about Black Label kits, not being well researched...missing details, etc....but I'm not a rivet counter and I build mostly out of the box. I'm usually happy with the end results of a Dragon kit.
They have my support (financially speaking). If they release something that I like I'll buy it. There are 4 things on this October release announcement that I am definitely going to purchase. The older I get the less I like individual track links

, I do like DS tracks.
I think they are putting a little more thought into what goes into those boxes, as far as subject matter goes. I'm happy with the new releases.

Unfortunately none of these are good for the Halftrack, as these are all (but the Valkyrie offering) modern ('80's,'90's,'00's)tankers and infantry (Meng).

I hope Dragon does a later Israeli M3 half track where the fuel tanks hang out from the back end.
Also I see they have made another version of the Jagdpanzer 38. Several companies have the Panzer 38 chassis so I can only hope if one of these guys will give us a few more derivatives based on the Panzer 38 chassis: a Swedish SAV m43 assault gun, Swedish APC Pb301, a what if Panzer - Panzer IV turret and PAW 600 gun on Hetzer chassis.

There aren't a whole lot of US Halftrack crews either so even finding suitable figures to even convert will be hard. We really need open topped vehicle crews that aren't German.
