It will be (I hope) a little diorama with USMC M1114, a piece of Iraqi street and a grocery shop. A static situation - Marine patrol stopped and talks with Iraqi people.
This will be useful:
1) Humvee:
- base model: Bronco Models (CB35136) M1114 Up-Armoured Vehicle w/XM153 CROWS II,
- conversion set: Perfect Scale Modellbau (35092) USMC M1114 HMMWV,
- MCTAGS turret: Live Resin (LRE-35235) MCTAGS USMC Turret with M2 Browning .50 Caliber Machine Gun,
- weapons ring base: Live Resin (LRE-35152) Armor turret base for all vehicles,
- electronics: Voyager Model (PEA259) US Army HUMVEE Blue Force Tracker & SincGar Unit,
- wheels: DEF Model (DM35008) US Humvee Stowage + MT tire set,
- valorisation 1: Voyager Model (PE35397) Modern HUMVEE M1114 w/CIP/smoke discharge,
- valorisation 2: Legend Production (LF1218) M1114 Detailing set,
- lights: SKP Model (SKP122) Light lenses for Humvee,
- searchlights: Bronco Models (AB3570) LED Search Light Set C;
2) Marines:
- 1/2 of crew: Evolution Miniatures (EM-35063) US Marines Humvee Crew In Fight Set 2,
- 1/2 of crew: Mantis Miniatures (35062) USMC Patrol,
- Iraqis: Meng Model (HS-001) Middle Easteners,
- personal gear: Meng Model (SPS-027) US Marines Individual Load-Carrying Equipment;
3) diorama:
- vending machines and dumpster: Meng Model (SPS-018) Vending Machine & Dumpster Set,
- trash: Plus Model (486) Thrash,
- bottles: Meng Model (SPS-010) Water bottles for vehicle/diorama,
- fruit and vegetables plastic crates: Macone Models (MAC35132) Plastic crates,
- fruit and vegetables boxes, barrels: Black Dog (T35041) Food Supplies Accessories set,
- small stuff: Garage Kits (-) Snacks, Cookies, Cereals, Tins and Tobacco.
And also a lot of things from spare box. Building will be made of foamed PVC. Maybe I'll add a electric pole, a road sign etc, if there will be some space for it on a rather small base (36 x 26 cm).

Definitely gonna be following this one, subject is near and dear to my heart. Went on oh, let's say a "few" of those patrols. What time frame are you going for?

Thanks, John
I wanted to portrait rather later period of presence in Iraq (2008-2009 or something). I'm not a 'rivet counter' as far as figures go, so I hope there are not many differences between Marines at this period and Evolution and Mantis figures. If there are, I'll be very grateful fo pointing them.
Starting with Humvee elements:
- seats:
- trunk cover and spare wheel:
- turret:
- roof with turret:
- under the roof:
- engine hood:
And for a relaxing break from Humvee:

Another great project to watch. My model space is packed for a move. I have a couple of weeks before I am moved and unpacked! I will be watching closely.

A big project with a lot of items.
I have the MCTAGS from Live Resin too and I wonder what type of glue is good for glasses. Do you know ?

Hello Alex,
I know that many of the aircraft guys use regular white glue on the canopies to avoid "clouding" that can happen with other glues. I do not know if this would work with a plastic and resin joint or not.
Respectfully,
Allen

Thaks for watching
I never glued transparent resin from LR so far and I don't know which glue should I use. But that's a looong journey to this stage before me.

OK thanks for reply, I will try with white glue and see if it works.
Kuba you make a great job on your humvee. Your scratchbuilt work is very fine. I like the turned position of front wheels.

Never saw one of those in an Army humvee, those Marines get all the cool stuff.
Great work on this kit so far, looking forward to more updates.

Every update gives me even more to like about this project! That ceiling fan looks like the one hanging in our sunroom right now, nice eye for detail.
