Always wondered why they never produced this as a set
so I gave it a try myself. Searching for 1/35 figures and making a lot of changes to them. I'm not a sculpter so it's not 100% the same but I'm quite saticfied till now (5 more to go)

I totally agree, it looks excellent. Someone already made the Fury set, so why not? Also a simular set of the Pacific would be nice.

Always wondered why they never produced this as a set
Licencing, have a feeling that it would cost far more for this than any manufacture could make, also, it's not exactly current (would the interest still be there?), the series being over 15 years old now, although the production values still hold up to anything produced today.

Great idea for a diorama especially if you use the figures as dimensional and then maybe the images behind as shadows of the figures!
This is one series that I can watch over and over. I never did see the one set in the Pacific as I would find it hard to recreate that bond that Winters and company built. I also wonder if you couldn't do something similar with the figures from Saving Private Ryan. Imagine a dio for any the scenes especially the last one with Ryan hovering over the Captain on the bridge next to the motorcycle at "the Alamo" with a burning tank across the way? Or has it been done here? Oops, after a search on the site, I see a very good diorama of that very scene! I am a day late and a dollar short!
Keep it going! I can't wait to see the detail and where you are going with this!

that's a good question as to why it hasn't been produced but you're doing a fantastic job recreating it; keep up the good work; great way to honor the guys portrayed in that amazing series; maybe your next project could be the subsequent series The Pacific

Thanks guys, well, last four figures came in today but need a lot of altering. As for new projects...... it's hard to find things that aren't done yet...especially when your looking for the odd things to build https://myalbum.com/album/Mnsbk7QKWRry

Hans, your album is awesome! So much in there.
The dio with the train and the civilians getting on gave me the chills. Very awesome piece of art you did there.
I also LOVE your nazi parade! I have a strange obsession with Axis Nazi Germany so I enjoyed that one quite a bit.
Looking forward to your next update with some altered figs. It's gonna be great and what an awesome idea!

Finished. The picture was the hardest thing on the project ( making four pictures into one, removing the background and putting it on the posterpicture.....
Will have some better pictures (without background) later.

What a great idea. Not sure how you always get these crazy thoughts, but it always turns out well.
I must say that this is a very well done "movie poster scene".
