Hello, as this is once again the wishing season, I would like to renew my wish for an M123A1/M172 tractor trailer combo with a Rome Plow dozer to haul. I know it's a long shot, but with all the hauling rigs coming out an old guy can wish. Thanks for hearing my rant. Wayne

Hmmmmm
I'll tell you something interesting ...
I have been in e-mail contact with Gabor (Miniman Factory, resin kits) to ask about their Black Friday discount for trailer + tractor combinations (mix and match trailer + tractor) and took the opportunity to ask about the M172 and the answer was that it is in their plans.
Don't know how long it will take but with some luck there will at least be a resin kit.
A styrene kit may take a while but who knows, the chinese manufacturers have been surprising us quite a lot lately ...

Robin, that is good to hear indeed. I have one of the Tank Workshop M123Cs in my stash so the trailer would go right with that. I also have their D7 dozer, but it is really a D8 I believe and as afar as I know the Rome Plows were either D7s or D9s. The only D8s were civilian contractor's equipment, but who knows, they are making WW2 dozers so maybe they are coming too. Anyway, thanks for the heads up and have a good holidays. Wayne

Even though there have been a lot of kits struck off my wish list over the last couple years (which then found their way into my stash...) there are still a couple that could stand to be kitted that I think would have pretty side appeal:
Ram Mk II (do a 3 in 1 kit of an OP, Gun tank and Kangaroo)
Daimler AC
Ferret SC
Mack NO
Scammell HAT
7.2" howitzer
M19 MGMC
M52 SPG
M53 SPG
M55 SPG
M56 Scorpion SPAT
AML 60/90
ERC 90
None of these have been kitted in plastic before (except the M55 and M56 and that was 50+ years ago)
A new M3 Stuart and M8 Scott would be kinda nice seeing as how AFV Club has a lot of the tooling already (especially for the M8).
While I fear I may die before a Ram sees styrene the last couple years have shown that many of the others have a real chance of being produced. My stash and I can wait...
