Just a quick ask here; is there any 1:35 scale kits of US World WarI tanks? Such as the M1917?
I can not find any reference?
Ant suggestions?
Thanks

Decalomaniacs makes US markings in 35th for the Meng FT-17. In 1/16th, the Takom kit with the canon and Girod turret includes markings for a US tank. I have been looking for Mk V US markings, but nothing out there. They used British style numbers and the white/red/white on the sponson horns. Non of nthe Meng or Takom Mk Vs have US markings.

I think Cookie Sewell did a build of a US MK V a couple of years ago in Fine Scale Modeler-- you might check there- go to their web page and type in his name.

During the war, only French Renault FT-17 and British Mk V tanks were used. The first US-made M1917 tanks arrived in France just before the Armistice, and never saw action during the war, but were widely used by the Army and Marines until the mid-1930's.
From 1919, the US assembled 100 of the Mk VIII "International," which was used until the 1930's.
