There seems to be alot of Dragon Tigers, but for some reason, this one looks very tempting.

A couple of sprues from this kit...a couple of sprues from that kit, some new box art, and...voila, "Brand-New" from Dragon.

Tiger "white 5" of s.Pz.Abt.506 was actually a Late Tiger.

There are brand new parts such as an antenna on the turret side and new engine deck hatch.
That, right there, will justify the $79.99 MSRP (or $99.99 from Squadron or Sprue Bros.).

Dragon is just taking a trick out of the airplane model playbook. Popular subject plus new decals = new kit. How many boxings of obscure markings has Hasegawa milked from its kits over the years? Let Dragon play too.

Must've. Never saw a 1/34 figure set from them. 1/35 sells better.

Dragon finally ran out of variations of pointing Germans.
I think they are down to like one set a year and the last was a very anemic three figures.

Pointing German figures come in handy if you want to model an elevator scene. They're pre-posed for pushing the floor buttons.

Well, it seems that Dragon's marketing has got ahead of itself this time. The kit is a re-release of 6700 with some changes; the exact description still needs to be settled.
s.Pz.Abt.506 didn't have the antenna on the turret side, so either that will have to go, or more decals will be added.

That seems to be the unanimous sentiment regarding the ubiquitous pointing German figures.

You KNOW what they can do with their fingers, don't you?
C'mon DRAGON, something that's REALLY new and not just a F*****G re-box, huh..?

Considering how hit and miss their recent "all new" releases have been, I have to ask what will they mess up next?
I mean I am really at a loss how they could have totally botched the M103, Saladin, Conqueror and then stupid errors in their M60A2 and M60 almost as if they didn't bother looking at references let alone the real things. These are vehicles where there are lots of still existing examples as opposed to one off German stuff glimpsed only in a dim photo.
Do I really want them to do an M60A3 that I served on and put "unit unknown" because they don't bother to read the bumper codes?
Think about what you ask for. What we get might be worse than not having it at all.
