Hello,
I was wondering if anybody could give me some info about the 'Italeri 36503 M4 Sherman (World of Tanks serie)'. This is the lowest priced sherman in our local hobby store and I was wondering if it is any good? Is it accurate? A rebox from kit N°...?

I can't find a review about this kit?

It's the venerable Italeri M4A1 76 mm Sherman kit that has been around forever. As recently as twenty five years ago it was the best Sherman kit available. It is still a good kit but compared to other more recent releases it shows its age.

If it is as above, then the tank is still good, except the tracks are unusable...

There's so many Sherman replacement track out there but Italeri track is STIFF. The best I ever managed was to solidly glue the whole suspension. Boil the tracks and use a hair dryer to get them on. Or painstakingly pre bend every joint in the track to loosen tension then use the hair dryer to keep them pliable as you put them on.

I was looking for a less expensive Sherman to use on a snowy winter diorama, so this kit will be very usefull I think.
