I posted this query in the T-64 thread but seeing it;s been dormant for a while I thought I'd toss it out to Gen Pop. Did the T-64B 75 have a rear facing spotlight aft of the left hatch? I see photos of the As having them. Other photos reported to be Bs also show them. (I can't tell if Bs or updated As) Also see Bs with out. Also would the light be white or IR? I'd think it was a work light so I'd lean towards white.

Off the top of my head, I believe the rear facing light is red. It has the vehicle number, or some other ID marking, on it most of the times. Used for night marches so the tank behind can see where the one in front is without using lights.

All T-64's were fitted for them, but sometimes they were not "deployed" on the tank.
