Some of these look pretty good but I'm not familiar with the IBG brand; any opinions out there? What are they like as kits and who carries them?

Plenty of reviews out there, you can start here at Armorama. They also have a site that takes orders for IBG and other European brands. Dragon USA, Sprue Brothers carry IBG as well.
