Hi,

Was the ROC Type 64 Light Tank (Taiwan Army AFV combining M42 Duster chassis with M18 tank destroyer turret) ever fitted with a canvas mantlet cover as seen on M18s? I cannot find period pics, only photos of surviving vehicles on display nowadays, without any kind of mantlet cover.

Thanks for your help!

Cheers,

Christophe

While I don't know about the Type 64, the Taiwanese did not place the mantlet cover on their M18's while in service, here's a US Army video showing them in service, so I'd assume the same for the Type 64.
