This year is the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Verdun. Phuong made a small diorama to show his idea of what life in the trenches looked like.

This is a great diorama. It's easy to see that Phuomg has given the scenery much thought before starting the build. The result is a very strong dioarama, extremly well painted with fabulous groundwork and sharp pictures to do justice to the craftmanship. I bow for this kind of professionals in the hobby !!

Yes Phuong,
Agree with Hans on this one - superb in every way - a diorama worth a thousand words.
Any chance of some close-ups in daylight?
Congratulations,
Tim

Stunning depiction of the horrific atmosphere & how life is reduced to merely surviving. This could also work in a post-apocalypse scenario with the remnants of humanity hunting rats for dinner.

Very well executed. To me, it has an eerie sense about it that adds to the overall impression of his diorama. The various degrees of wet earth/dirt/mud are also very effective.

The painting alone is exquisite. Beautiful work!
