Hi all
Here's one of my latest builds. It's the Meng kit almost OOB, and instead of the external fuel drums I added a tarp, which was made of paper, led foil and white glue.

What happened to the mesh parts on the engine deck ?
Is the clogging of some of the holes intentional ?
I use to blow air (double-action airbrush, no paint only air) through the mesh after painting to make sure that the paint doesn't clog the mesh.

Nice and dirty finish Looks like it is fresh back from an exercise out in the fields.

Jacob, that dirty finish is, in my opinion, perfect! That tank is in severe need of a good bath. I will have to spend some time pouring over these photos.

Thanks for all the nice comments.
Robin: I haven't really noticed this before you mentioned it. I guess it must have been the primer, which has clogged up the mesh. I'll be more careful with this in future builds.

Hi;

The Engine screens are easy to fix, just take A sewing needle and poke thru the patches of paint. Its very simple. With PE engine screens its always A pain to keep them from not collecting paint clog's

Mike: Sounds like a good idea with the needle. I'm going to give it a try, thanks for the tip.
