So with all the 3D printing going on its a wonder that these companies haven't done worn tank tracks yet. All the kit kits represent new tracks and it difficult to modify these and just doesn't look right on a worn and weathered model.

Those are the exception that proves the rule.
Incidentally I find some tracks as molded too crisply. Edges that are slightly round in real life are too sharp let alone any track wear. Even brand new chevron track doesn't look anywhere near as sharp as most most kits have them. Not a single pit or molding flaw in the rubber but sharp enough to cut glass.
