Wikipedia says that EAAK was not used before 1993.

The old Ground War Desert Storm book by Jim Mesko includes at least two b&w pics showing AAV-7's fitted with the P900 armor (AAK) like the one below...

I wish someone would churn out a conversion kit for this armor. It was gone by the time I got to the fleet - on AAVs anyway. We cut up this armor along with empty 55-gallon drums and made ghetto-fabulous BBQ pits (armor was the grill). Perhaps that was the AmTrac flavor in Friday's burgers.
According to the Tankograd publication, EAAK began fielding in 1991 which makes sense to me ( for whatever that's worth). I got to AAVs in late '92 and nearly all the AAVs had EAAK mounted. The January 1993 TM includes EAAK and if you're familiar with how that system works means it was in service before that.
Couple pics from late '92. There's EAAK on most AAVs however you can see there were still couple in progress. To include couple still getting the bow plane mod accomplished. I remember hanging EAAK - holy freak'n PIA!
Wiki might be referring to when it was finally fully fielded?

And seems like a good place for these too....
New AAV SU (survivability upgrade) now that EFV is no more.
It will probably be a while before anyone jumps on the SU conversion too. Unfortunate because that thing is a serious beast! Even if a bit on the not so great looking side.
None of the mine-plows tested on the P7 worked well. The one tested after this version was better but I do not know how they did in the water, if they even swam it for the test.

Thank you all for your responses..
find out that the EAAK armor is not used in operation Desert Storm so for my built i must go with an AAVP or LVTP kit without armor
is anyone know if both turrets the older and UGWS used in Desert Storm or i should go with the older one?

Both variants have been used during ODS.
