Excellent model. I am impressed by the levels of weathering - the heavier track dust along the running gear while the fine soot and dust streaks show along the boiler, cab, and tender. Great looking coals and coal dust on the tender deck behind the bunker.
Super work.

Painting, weathering, and detailing, all outstanding! Does look like a photo of the real machine.
Even my pick-up is panzer grey.

Thank you all for the nice comments.
Keith: The coal pieces in the tender is made of "gravel" bought in a railrod/train hobby store, and the spilled coal pieces are made from black pastel color, which was grinded a bit.

I agree with all of the above comments. Very very nicely done ! The weathering is very accurate looking and nicely restrained. Plus, this thing is HUGE. It must have taken a liter of paint for the base coat.

Are those the kit decals, self-made or something like the Peddinghaus ones?
Looks fantastic.

Thanks Jerry. And yes, it's a rather large build. You should go for it, and then plaster it in around a 100 retreating German soldiers of various arms. You could incorporate it in your "Elbe" diorama 😁 It's right up your alley!!
Al: The decals are from Archer.

Really excellent. It's not an easy kit to build, either.

Really nice work. I love the Trains and Big Guns, so much canvas to work with when it comes to painting and weathering. The real stone used in the tender are an excellent touch. Thanks for sharing your work.

All it needs it 2 or 3 Tiger transports, several with trucks and APC's, etc...
I found a nifty feature on the forums called HIDE USER.
I was going to try it on myself and go stealth, but it only works on other users.

Jacob,
I wish I were finished!
I am impressed by everyone who manages to build this thing without throwing a baseball at it!
Just a beautiful model and an excellent paint job!!!

The level of weathering and attention to detail is top-notch. Really nice work and looks like a great kit as well.
