I planning on building Mengs Leopard 2A7 and i dont want have to deal with the multi piece individual tracks in the Meng kit
and plan to replace them with the one piece tracks from the tamiya Leopard 2A5/A6 and Im wondering if any one has them in thier stash that they dont need

How urgently do you need them? I have a set I don't need already have replacement ones (from IRC Bronco?), but postage from Australia could take a 2-3 weeks.

Nick,
Tried the same thing myself - mind you I was still scarred from doing a Model Kasten Sherman set so not in mood for individual links with multiple parts.
After I discovered that the Tamiya ones are a little too wide, I thought I'd give the Meng tracks a go.
After 2 hours I had two complete sets of tracks for my new Leo. The click together feature, while I was initially highly sceptical, work pretty well.
By the time you wait for the Tamiya ones from a kind fellow modeller to arrive in the mail you could build the Meng versions.
Give the Meng set a chance. The detail is much better than the Tamiya tracks and holds paint just like....well, plastic. ;-)

Best wishes,
Craig.

Yep the Meng tracks are not bad at all. After you do a couple of links you get the hang of it and it builds up pretty fast and easy. Just a but time consuming is all.
