There used to be a figure in an almost the same pose, produced by S&T Productions. A range of some of the most outstanding sculptings by John Rosengrant...Alas, not available any longer. What happened to them? Why didn't they sell the moulds?

Wow, those .50 Cal. cans in the "depot items' part of this announcement gave me a flashback. I was on the range at Wildflecken in 1978 with my Platoon's M2 Flex's all ready to go, awaiting an ammo delivery. When our M35 rolled up, the bed was filled front to back with ammo cans just like those-- top and side loaders with bails, which we had never seen before. All the cans were marked and dated either Nov. 1944 or May 1945, making them over 34 years old! The Ammo Point just wanted to get rid of it. It was all Ball and Tracer ammo. The tracers burned out about half way to the target, if they burned at all, and every 8-10 rounds we'd have to re-charge the charging handles because of the misfires. The issue didn't count against the Squadron's .50 allocation-- the ammo point just wanted it all burned up. The strange thing is they wanted all the cans accounted for, but I still wish I'd saved a couple of those cans, they are real antiques now. Nice figure and cargo items.
