I have been thinking about another Panther project. A reworked early hull with the F turret mounted. Since I don't have access to the latest Dragon Panther A kit, maybe someone can help me out.

Kit 6358 is the latest Dragon A and has parts from the G. If I get that kit I was thinking of using the late A turret on the late G hull, that is part of the F kit, for another build.

There is an older Panther A from Dragon that I can get shipped for about half the cost of the newer kit. The Panther A Early and the Panther A Normandy.

So the question is, is the hull on the 6358 improved over the earlier kits, or is it the same hull?

Thanks,
Randy

The early A lower hull has molded in torsion bar swing arms. The 6358 has separately molded swing arms. The upper hull front plate in the normandie A has a partially molded in machine gun ball mount, 6358 has the same ball mount as later G kit

Chuck,

Thanks for the information. It sounds like the new kit is the better choice.
