Hi,
I was just wondering what anyone thought about the idea of an Armorama pin or name badge. I'm always curious about who else from here might be at a show I'm attending. I think this could be a good way for any of us to start meeting each other face to face.
I was thinking of anything from a simple Armorama pin to something with our screen name and real name on it would be pretty good.
It might even be a good way for the site to raise a little money too.
Just curious....
Craig

Armorama namebadges are a common thing with the Benelux Community. We made them last year and I must say that all of our regulars wear them at shows and events..... We'll see if I'm right, when I Join the Armorama Remember Market Garden Fieldtrip next Sunday. If they wear their badges, I'll show the pics to prove it

Actually the Dutch are doing that since our first appearance with a stand at the KMK Scaleworld in Geel Belgium. I designed a simple nametag on wich the name and the Screenname is featured.
The Namecard can be put into a holder wich you can pin down on your chest like a button.
The namecard looks like this:
The sizes are 8,5 by 5,5 and it looks this big because it is 200 DPI wich results in a nice print. This way most of the Dutch Armorama members can recognize each other at events and such. It works ok

Hi guys,
Thanks for the feedback.
I'm going to an IPMS show in Columbus, Ohio this Saturday. Maybe I'll print that badge out and wear it. If I do, I'll let you know if I get any response. Thanks for posting it Rob.

Do you want me to make a badge for you?? Then I do your Name and screenname on the card and send you the higher resolution because the pic in the Topic is webfriendly wich means it is a lot less Kb`s then the original. Let me know as it really is not that much work. It only takes a minute or 2.

I made badges for Supercon in Arlington, Texas a yaer and a half ago. The ones I did where not as fancy as your Faust. There where a couple of member there.
Faust, can you send me a better copy of that badge to my e-mail. There is a show here in San Antonio, Texas next week, and I would like to have a badge for that.
Thanks in advance.

We don't need no stinking badges!!!! Just kidding. I think we should have badges. I really like the badge from WW2modelmaker. I think it is a good idea. It would be nice to meet people at shows that you talk to on line with all the time.
