I can't believe the detail you are able to paint in, whether it be the cabin dials or the rusting on the straps of the missile, just sensational. Great idea for a weathered diorama as well, a museum piece, seeing many a season, wonderful.

Great rust effect! Are you working with a sponge here or a different technique?

Thank you very much to all of you. I've done rust using some oils and mostly 5/0 round brush. Only some areas were done with sponge.
However it looks like a did a huuuuuge mistake, as I was not aware that missile is made from aluminium and it would rather oxidize and not rust. Now I have to decide to wash/remove rust and then add other type of weathering or just pretend that, since this is a museum version of vehicle, someone did a dummy steel missile instead of real one.

I did some wheel choke and parts to be put under suspension to hold vehicle in place (I'm not sure what the name in english)

Then I glue them in place, put a vehicle in place. I've also add some crushed real dry leaves:

Hi Przemek,

I can only nod in agreement. The build, the finishing and the weathering - which is exactly right for a museum piece - are all excellent. Fabulous!

Thank you very much Zaidi. I tried to find a way to build a weathered model and museum was the only option. ;-)

Nikos, Jerry and Roy - thank you very much. You are very kind.

That really is a fantastic build, and the painting and weathering is amazing!

If I may offer one suggestion, you might want to add some staining (rusty, grimy, moldy) in the outline of the vehicle on the ground. It would be particularly noticeable in spots where rainwater would have tended to run off the vehicle.

What a great job! I wish I could do that well!
