Hi,
For those who don't know, dragonusaonline is selling the Sd.Kfz.251 Drilling for $37 today.
However, this is a rereleased version. I was wondering if anyone has purchased the rereleased version and knows what it has.
Dragon usually takes metal parts out of rereleases. The website only shows the original box pictures that show all the metal parts, but I'm sure this is because they never updated the contents for rerelease. This has happened before.
The dragon-models site usually updates their pictures for rereleases and it doesn't show anything about metal width indicators, shells, or flash suppressors. It doesn't even mention the ds figures.
Other modelling retailers either don't provide any information, or they have the original contents.
Does anyone know what the rerelease actually includes?

Good question that I'd like an answer to as well.

Isn't that a case of false advertising?
I would just buy it, check if the metal parts are there and if not, ask for your money back!
Cheers,
Christophe

This happened to me before once. I purchased the dragon 88 flak 36 and the site still showed that it came with two metal barrels, metal cylinders, brass shells but when I got it none of that stuff was there. Fortunately, I was expecting this to happen because checked around for the rerelease info.
I contacted dragon care with screenshots of the site to see if they had spares of the barrels but they didn't, but they said I could return it. I decided to keep it because I think it was for a good price, though the metal barrels would have been nice.
Dragon, however, does keep metal barrels in some kit rereleases, like the Hummel smart kit. I think the rule is if the kit came with only a metal barrel originally (ie. No optional plastic barrel), then you can expect the kit to still have the metal barrel. They don't want to make a new sprue.
I recently bought the king tiger zimmerit 6303 rereleased and the brand new king tiger 505th 6840. I was surprised because the 6303 rerelease came with metal barrel but 6840 had a new sprue with plastic barrel. I know the 6303 was a rerelease because it didn't come with a dragon card.
