mod.2011 or 2012 depend on what year of scheme you are going to use..but there is no difference between them on the configuration.

Marcos,
the Trumpeter T-90MS kit (and the Tiger Model T-90MS model) allows you to build the 2011 and 2012 versions ONLY.
However, there are a few minor discrepencies between the 2011 and 2012 types :
- As shown above the headlight clusters are not the same.
- the camo scheme use the same colours but the pattern was altered (slightly)
- at first the 2012 version had the same track type as the 2011 version ((T-90 style) but all photos have seen show the these tracks were fitted with pads. Later the tank was equiped with new track type (as seen on T-72B3M/B4 and some BMPT's).

Hope this is of some help

Great information guys. I was wondering what the differences were. Trumpeter is going to release another T-90MS version as announced in their kit catalogue.
Marcos, the tracks you are using for your build, are they not from the kit?

Very interesting about the tracks, but I'll be damned if I'll throw any coin at Miniarm tracks again. I have used 3 sets and had to purchase additional each time due to brittle pieces. These tracks are so similar to the T-90 double pins that I doubt they'll be noticed once their covered with soil or with pads installed.

Maybe it would be wiser to use the Meng T-90 workable tracks, do they fit the Trumpeter sprockets?
I personaly don't like the Trumpeter T-90 tracks cause they don't have the seperate outer pins and somehow it looks strange to my eyes. There should be 2 slight angles where the links connect when wrapped around the sprocket and returnroller but the way they are made there is only 1...
